My kittens are raised under foot and are never caged. They are well socialized and get the best of medical care at the vet clinic where I work as a veterinary technician. All kittens will be altered before leaving.

Devons are VERY social animals. Do not try to compare them to a "regular" cat. They prefer to have a cat companion. Cats that have a cat companion lead healthier, happier lives with a lot more exercise. Devons love their human companions but it's not the same as another cat, someone to wrestle, groom with and to chase. A human home all day long is nice for a devon but still not a replacement for a play mate. Having another cat will not prevent a devon from bonding with you or from giving you plenty of attention. A devon has plenty of love to give to several other pets plus the entire family. A home with another cat is more likely to get a devon from me than a home with no other cats. I just love my kittens and I'm overly concerned about their happiness and well being :) A multiple cat household is simply a better environment and a better life for a devon's busy, busy mind. They MUST have something to do to occupy them all day long. If cost is an issue, I WILL sell a devon kitten by itself, if a person would be open to adding another cat or kitten later. Although other cats make excellent companions for a devon, no cat understands a devon's mind and play behavior like another devon. A lonely devon can resort to destructive behavior, over grooming and other bad habbits that may never resolve. Two cats are just as easy to care for as one, and they are much more content together if you plan to travel with them.
Thank You!
